Open fields. A creek that runs year-round. A long, quiet road with no cars on it. This is where every boarding stay and every training session happens.
Most of the land is open pasture and tree-line — perfect for off-leash recall practice with dogs we trust, and on-long-line work with the ones we're still building up. We have a fully fenced training paddock for new arrivals and reactive dogs.
If your dog has never had this much grass in front of them, you're going to want a video of the first ten minutes.
There's a creek that cuts through the back acreage. It's shallow enough to wade in, deep enough in a few spots for real swimming, and shaded by old hardwoods most of the day.
For the water-loving dogs, this is the whole reason they don't want to go home. For the more hesitant ones, it's a great place to introduce water slowly. Codie has a few spots picked out specifically for nervous swimmers.
The road we walk runs from the front gate to the property line — about a mile out, a mile back. There's almost no traffic. It's where Codie does most of his loose-leash and reactivity work, and where we walk the boarders every morning and evening.
For dogs who haven't been able to handle a normal sidewalk walk, this is often the place where it starts to click.
Indoor sleeping spaces are climate-controlled, with raised cots and access to fenced outdoor runs. We never take on more dogs than we can give real attention to — capacity is capped and we keep it that way on purpose.
If you're thinking about boarding or training with us, come walk the property first. We'll show you everything.
